Eliane de Larminat was awarded a special mention by the jury of the PSL prize in Humanities and Social Sciences for her dissertation “La forme des politiques urbaines. Photographie et logement social à Chicago, 1937-2000”, supervised by François Brunet (✝︎) and then Jean Kempf.
The PSL prize in Humanities and Social Sciences, with the support of the PSL’s main Research programs, rewards the best doctoral work in five different fields. Nearly 300 applications were submitted by young doctors from French and international universities and colleges. The juries selected five winners and awarded 22 special mentions.
