Archive – Gender and Populism : British, French and US Perspectives

The Centre for British Politics and Government and the Global Institute for Women’s Leadership, in collaboration with the University of Paris, will initiate a seminar series on gender and British politics with the first seminar entitled ‘Gender, conservatism and populism : comparing the British, French and American experience’.

The objective of the series is to develop a new strand in the analysis of British politics drawing on the experience of Brexit and comparable events in other European countries.

The series will be policy relevant with the format of a presentation by one or more academics with a response from an experienced policy maker.

The series will be launched on Tuesday 18th June. The seminar will begin at 16:00 with a drinks reception to follow.
