Programme The medical personn

Posted on August 25, 2019

A renewed alliance between Medicine and Humanities is necessary. The programme is studying patients’ subjectivation of their relatives and medical professionals, literally the ways these people go socially and personally through the disease. It analyses what “experiencing chronic illness” (even before birth, through prevention and access to biomedical data information, with a chronic illness, etc.). The programme also studies care practices which take into account the patient as an individual and the patient in his surrounding environment. The programme finally works on the training of doctors and medical professionals as well as how humanities plays a role in this.
