  • Prof. Thomas Dutoit (Université de Lille, CNRS Visiting Fellow at LARCA) will present his paper ‘Stone and Store,    Earth and World, Conversation and Conservation: Alice Munro’s “Working for a Living” (2006, in Alice Munro, View from Castle Rock).’ Please find enclosed the short story in question.
  • Prof. Nicholas Royle, University of Sussex, will be the discussant. Royle has recently published, among others, Hélène Cixous: Dreamer, Realist, Analyst, Writing (2020), Mother: A Memoir (2020), An English Guide to Birdwatching: A Novel (2017), Veering: A Theory of Literature (2011).
